I walked out this morning to a delightfully chilly morning.  A mega-grin spread across my face (perhaps it was already in place as Friday is "jean" day at school), and I ran back inside, tugged on my UNC hoodie (God, I love Chapel Hill), and off I went. My drive was more relaxing than usual as I noticed the trees starting to color their leaves with the enchanting hues of the fall season, and walking into my classroom, I was happy and content and smiley. You see, some call it fall, others say autumn, 'round here in the south, some just call it good ol' football weather, but I call it hoodie season, and I'm so glad it's here.

On another happy note, Hank and I are going on a mini-trip to spend the weekend in Chapel Hill in a few weeks. In case you didn't know, the air is different in Chapel Hill, the trees are different in Chapel Hill, and the world is different in Chapel Hill, too. Three years of teaching, and then hopefully, grad school here I come!
