The seventh season of "American Idol" premieres tonight. Will you be watching, or are you over it?
I was never hooked, so no, I won't be watching.
How do you want 2008 to be different from 2007? What will you change or do differently?

- Be more organized. In the midst of my first year of teaching, planning a wedding, and advising a yearbook staff, my organization, usually one of my most fine-tuned traits, has fallen off tremendously. This will be a semester of intense organization as I try to pull my life back together, one accurately labeled file folder at a time.
- Be more healthy. I will eat better and move more, or eventually, I will weigh the same as my house.
- Be financially responsible. I will pay bills, not spend money as frivolously as I have, and attempt to start growing a nice little nest egg.
- Write more because honestly, I just miss it.
- Do more things to develop myself as a young professional.
- Learn to cook. The husband and I are working on this one, and it's coming along decently. I like to cook; I just lack knowledge beyond Hamburger Helper and baked goods.
- Make more time for me and "us." So much of my time gets zapped away by pointless things. I need to take time each day for me, and now for the family made up of me and my husband.
- Have a great year. It will be my first year as a newlywed, and I want to make it a good one!
List five reasons (at least) why you are awesome.

1. I set goals and reach them.
2. I've let go and held on, both of which can be difficult.
3. I love Christmas like whoa.
4. In the past four months, I have successfully conquered my first semester of teaching and advising a yearbook staff, planned a wedding, and lived in "sin" (according to my parents).
5. I was molested by my ex-brother-in-law, and I finally got the courage to tell my parents about it, 11 years later. It's been one heck of a year.
Finish this sentence: "I am glad to say that I have never had meaningless sex."

In honor of World Teachers' Day today, tell us about a teacher who had a positive impact on your life.
Dr. William Ramsey is the teacher who completely changed my life. I never knew that the first time I walked into his classroom would be the beginning of such a transformation in my life. He is a beautiful individual who has such incredible intelligence. Greater than friends, lack of responsibility, or all the laughs, he is the thing I miss hte most about college. The man amazes me.
You're the DJ: what are the next five songs coming up after the break?

- "Free Fallin'" -- Tom Petty
- "Children's Story" -- Slick Rick
- "Fidelity" -- Regina Spektor
Who is the very first friend you ever had? Are you still in touch?
Jennifer. She was born the night before I was born. Our parents were good friends, and we actually have pictures of us side by side in the cribs in the hospital nursery. She's still one of my very best friends. I talked to her yesterday, and she is one of the bridesmaids in my wedding.
